  • Austerity - which is what is being proposed by the Republicans (although they don't want to use that term), hasn't worked for ANY of those in the European debt crisis. In fact, our economy has rebounded better and faster than those that took austerity measures.

  • It's not unreasonable 2 ask the rich to pay the same % of their income as me. My effective tax rate was around 25% w/48k. The rich - 18%.
